The Bush Chain Gang in NYC
The Backbone Campaign's new Chain Gang puppets were featured on the home page of CNN.com on Saturday during the protest march sponsored by United for Peace and Justice. The new puppets were a big hit at the march, with Backbone Campaign director Bill Moyer remarking, "There were photographers in front of us the entire time. Ten thousand photos must have been taken over the course of the march."

At least one of the photographers was covering the march for Agence France Press (AFP). That photographer's picture of the Chain Gang made it onto the front page of CNN immediately after the march. The CNN article about the protest march includes a link to a gallery of pictures, including the AFP photo.
